"The paper The Jewish Quarter of Guarda – texts and contexts" presents a multidisciplinary study of the Jewish Quarterin Guarda during medieval times. The earliest recorded Jewish presence in the city dates back to 1295, with numerous documents referencing the Jewish community, its urban landscape, and synagogue until the expulsion/conversion of Jews in 1496.
